The course aims at enhancing students’ listening and speaking skills in Business English ready to communicate effectively in an competitive and cooperative international work environment. The teacher will ask students to apply their business knowledge in class and sharpen their communicative skills in English by listening, speaking, presenting and group-discussing on relevant, up-to-date, business-related topics. In-class listening skills will be practised such as dictation, sound recognition, short-term memory, prediction, note-taking, listen for the main idea, listen for specific purpose, logical organization and functional English skills. After class students will be asked to do some insightful and self-enhancing extensive video watch to increase the language sense as well as business sense.
